Patient expressing good will and good character
1/22/99
Dear Dr. Burton,
A few years ago, after an accident, I searched for a Chiropractor who utilized the technique of Applied Kinesiology and came upon Dr. Seplow. While under his care, he introduced me to a new Associate Chiropractor who would be taking over my care.
Initially I was put off that I was being passed on to someone else without my input or approval, however, after 2 to 3 appointments with his new Associate, I knew that fate had brought me an Angel by the name of Dr. Bernard (Bernie) Burton. Name sound familiar?
I had been to at least 25 Chiropractors since the onset of back pain many years ago. I also had some medical background being a Paramedic, but I never was treated with the respect and reverence that came from you, Dr. Burton. I knew how unusual it was to have any type of Doctor actually hear what you are saying and talk with you so that you would understand what is going on. Dr. Burton, you are a gentle, generous, beautiful and rare gem. I have been honored to have the opportunity to not only be a patient of yours, but to have the faith and trust of my clients that I refer to you, knowing that they will be treated with the same compassion, servitude, and understanding that I have always experienced for you.
I have followed you to Ft. Lauderdale and I will follow you wherever you may go. Dr. Burton, YOU ARE THE ESSENCE OF WHAT A HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL IS MEANT TO BE. Thank-you for being the humanitarian that you are; also for being my Doctor of Chiropractic, my Mental Health Physician, a sounding board, my nutritionist (even thought I don’t help out, too much), my colleague and my friend, as well.
Sincerely and fondly,
Mickey Falke, L.M.T.
