On February 6, 2012, the night of the Super Bowl, at 1:30 am, I drove myself to the nearest hospital, Memorial West, with a fast heartbeat.
The same day, Monday the 7th, at 8:00 pm, I was discharged without any diagnosis. The cardiologist on duty came in the late afternoon and gave me two choices to treat my condition:
- High blood pressure medication, or
- Burning of the natural heart pacemaker through my groin, the latter, if the condition was more frequent.
A month later I obtained my records from the hospital and found out that there was no diagnosis and that all the tests performed came out normal. This was as a cost of about $14,000.00.
I searched on my own for other ways to treat the occasional increase in heart rate and came across the name of Dr. Bernard Burton and scheduled an appointment.
Dr. Burton found the trigger to be a hiatal hernia. After several treatments by Dr. Burton, I no longer have to worry, my problem was corrected.
Thank-you, Dr. Burton,
